Love this rug

It's thick, comfy, and seems high quality. It adds a cozy texture to our living room. Didn't notice any smell, and the shedding has been minimal. It also laid flat overnight.

Too bulky, trip hazard

The look is gorgeous but the pics online don’t capture the bulk of the ropy weave. In bare feet it feels like walking on coiled ropes on the deck of a sailboat. The edges are tall as a result, creating a trip hazard entering the room. Returned the rug, which was much less challenging than I feared!

Just what I wanted for bedside step out. The rug has various textures and compliments my solid wool rug nicely. I ordered the matching runner to put in my walk in closet. Hopefully it will hold up but I have had good luck with wool rugs in the past. Still waiting on my bed but I know it will work.
