This Persian Ultra Vintage rug is an antique Persian Rug that has been washed, over-dyed, and then shaved down to a low pile. Look at the detail pictures to fully appreciate the uniqueness of this piece.
All of our hand-knotted rugs are professionally washed and treated. All rugs are individually inspected before leaving our warehouse.
Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 60cm beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Hallway
A 95 x 160cm or 125 x 185cm rug works well for most hallways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 240 x 305cm or 275 x 365cm.
Kitchen
A runner works well in front of the sink or hob. For larger kitchens, a 125 x 185cm or 160 x 245cm rug can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 60 to 90cm on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
Outdoor
Measure your patio or decking and choose a rug that fits within the furniture grouping, leaving a few centimetres of clearance on all sides.
- Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting to remove surface dirt.
- Spot clean stains immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Deep clean by hand using a mixture of cool water and mild wool-safe soap.
- Have the rug professionally cleaned every 3-5 years.
- Rotate the rug every 6 months to ensure even wear and fading.
