Part of the Qom collection, this 211 cm x 81 cm runner is hand-knotted from wool in Iran. It displays a rich crimson red field adorned with two intricate central medallions surrounded by flowing floral arabesques and palmettes. Deep navy blue, antique gold, soft olive green, and ivory accents bring depth to the traditional Persian design, framed by a multi-layered floral border and finished with fine fringed ends. The medium wool pile provides a dense, soft texture underfoot with the characteristic endurance of authentic hand-knotted construction.
The elongated runner format makes it well-suited for high-traffic corridors, narrow hallways, and formal entranceways. Its deep red and navy palette complements dark wood parquet, warm walnut consoles, and brass hardware, while also providing a grounded focal point alongside crisp white mouldings and neutral stone tiling.
