This square rug from the Ziegler collection is hand-knotted in Pakistan from 100% hand spun wool. Built with a thin pile and traditional fringed ends, it displays a classic floral palmette design. The rich deep burgundy field is patterned with scrolling vines and floral rosettes in shades of cream, beige, soft blue, and muted coral. Framing the central field is a wide, cream-toned border repeating the botanical motifs, enclosed by slender accent guards that give the composition a defined and balanced structure.
