Thanks to the sale we managed to purchase this one. The weave is of good quality and the colour is really nice. We ordered the blue rug - EXACTLY like the picture.

We have a large black dog and she sheds and as much as we vacuum there is still dog hair. So the carpet hides it well. The carpet isn’t particularly soft or thick but it’s ok!

The fibers are incredibly soft and feel luxurious underfoot—it genuinely feels like stepping onto a cloud every morning. The pile height is substantial enough to feel dense and cushiony without being so long that it becomes difficult to manage. It's the perfect accent rug for a bedside or in front of a favorite chair where you want that extra layer of cozy warmth.Color and Size AccuracyThe charcoal description is spot-on. It's a deep rich moody gray that is beautifully complex. It’s dark enough to anchor a room and hide minor dust or pet hair but it avoids looking flat or simply black. It unrolled easily and the slight creasing from shipping relaxed completely within 24 hours.Practicality and MaintenanceOne concern with shag rugs is often shedding but I have been impressed with how minimal the shedding has been even in the first week. Vacuuming requires using a lighter setting (or no brush roll) due to the long fibers but spot cleaning has been simple.Pro-Tip: Given the thickness of the pile I highly recommend placing a thin rug pad underneath. While the rug has a decent backing a pad will prevent slipping and provide an extra layer of stability and padding maximizing that cloud-like feeling.Final VerdictThis 3x5 charcoal shag rug is an exceptional value.
